Tara's True Story
Four years ago I was introduced to the world of food allergies, Bendryll and Epi-pens after my 2 yr old daughter had a severe reaction to peanut butter. Since then I have had two other children all of whom have food allergies as well. My children's food allergies have ranged from peanuts, tree nuts, egg, beef, pork, soy, banana, kiwi and milk in addition to their eczema, seasonal and environmental allergies as well. My husband and I have spent many of doctor visits asking why and how can we prevent, and with much frustration we've learned to accept the allergy fact and moved forward with my mission to first and foremost educate, prevent, and treat if necessary. With each new roadblock (as upsetting as they are), I've learned many new paths in how to best cope and survive these challenges and am always open to explore others.
