Topic:
Are You Living in a Toxic Home?

Slide presentation and discussion with:

Our three speakers are Distributors in Partnership with the Shaklee Corp., which was founded over 50 years ago. The company was formed to develop products that improve the health of people and the planet. In 1960, Basic H (now known as Basic H2) was
formulated, one of the first biodegradable, non-toxic cleaners.  (It has been featured on "Oprah" 6 times and is one of her favorite items.)  Many other non-toxic, naturally-derived items have been developed since then, including nutritional supplements, skin and hair care, weight loss products and an extensive home product division.  Shaklee was "green" when green was just a color! It is the #1 natural nutrition company in the U.S. and is the first company in the world to obtain "Climate Neutral" certification.

All products are guaranteed 100% and undergo 83,000 quality control tests a year to verify purity and potency.  The slide presentation and discussion concentrated on the use of regular, commercial cleaning and laundry products in the home and the possible harmful effects on children.  Mount Sinai Medical Center study recently concluded that
infants are born with traces of an average of 200 chemicals in their bodies.  Ninety percent of all poison exposures occur at home, a large number from household cleaning products.  Asthma rates in children increased more than 160% from 1980-1994, and common household cleaners give off fumes, which may increase the risk of asthma in children.

Shaklee Get Clean products contain no: VOC's, phenol, lye, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, petroleum distillates, ammonia, butyl cellosolve, phosphoric acid, or formaldehyde.
They clean as well or better than common cleaners. Many are highly concentrated, which save you money.  Switching from conventional brands to the Get Clean Kit can
eliminate 108 pounds of packaging, 248 pounds of greenhouse gases, and can save you over $3000!

If your child is highly allergic to coconut or corn, then, perhaps, these products are not for you----but, please, pass on the information to anyone who might want to change their
cleaning products. You may be interested in our other items.

Please feel free to access our web-sites or email us for further information on Shaklee products or the business opportunities available.  If you specify that you are from PAK a percentage of each sale will be sent to PAK as an on-going fundraiser for the next few months.

It was our pleasure to present at your meeting!
